Prudence's upcoming freeform workshops

This year my Freeform workshops at Threads & More in Brisbane, will be held on:
Saturday April 12; Sunday August 17; and Saturday, November 1. There is also a weekend of workshops for Threads & More planned for Melbourne on August 30 and 31. The Australian Craft & Quilt Fairs for 2008 started off with a brand new show in Newcastle from February 29 to March 2. I conducted a full day pre-fair freeform workshop on Thursday February 28, plus lectures and a one-hour Craft Circle class on the crochet bullion stitch each day of the fair.

The second of the Craft & Quilt Fairs for the year will be on Queensland’s Gold Coast from April 3 to 6. You can find me at stand E26. There will be a full day pre-fair freeform workshop on Wed, April 2, book at the stand to learn the crochet bullion stitch in a one-hour Craft Circle class at 2 pm each day of the fair, or sit in on a half hour ‘how to freeform’ talk at noon.

This will be followed by another Craft & Quilt Fair, this time in Townsville, Qld, from April 17 to 20. My stand will be D17, and again there will be a full day pre-show class, plus a talk about freeform, and short bullion stitch workshops during the fair.

Next I will be in the UK, with workshops for Wonderwool Wales at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys, Wales on the weekend of April 26 and 27 – their website is http://www.wonderwoolwales.co.uk, and since the workshops booked out very quickly, a second workshop has now also been scheduled for later on each of the afternoons.

There will also be a full day class on Monday April 28 at The Wool Emporium in Powys, Wales - their website is http://www.woolemporium.co.uk

Then a workshop in Derbyshire on Wednesday, April 30 (if you are interested in that one, booking enquiries should be made to pauline_fitzpatrick04@hotmail.com) followed a full weekend workshop in Fife, Scotland on May 3 and 4 – details available from http://www.twistfibrecraft.co.uk... and finally there will be 2 separate workshops on (May 10 and 11), in Leeds, for the Leeds and Bradford branch of the Knitting & Crochet Guild - http://www.knitting-and-crochet-guild.org.uk

Then I will be back in Australia for the next of the Australian Craft & Quilt Fairs, this time in Perth, Western Australia, from May 21 to 25. At this one my stand will be F15.

…followed soon after by the largest of the C & Q Fairs, this time at Darling Harbour, Sydney from June 11 to 15. I will be at Stand H20.

…and then the next C & Q Fair will be in Hobart, Tasmania, from June 27 to 29. You will find me at stand C4.

And then I will be the Craft & Quilt fair in Melbourne, from July 24 to 27.

In August I will be in Canberra for the C & Q Fair there – August 7 thru 10; followed by the freeform retreat planned by Threads & More at “O’Reilly’s” on Mt Tamborine, Qld – August 22-25, and then workshops for T & M in Melbourne on August 30 and 31.

September is the C & Q Fair in Hamilton, New Zealand (Sept 18-21. The Freeformers’ Tour will be catching the last days there, and then continuing on until October 2.

After that I hope to visit Ally Pally again (the London Knitting & Stitching Show from Oct 9 to 12), followed by the Brisbane C & Q Fair from Oct 22 to 26.

The last of the C & Q Fairs for the year will be in Adelaide, South Australia, from November 6 to 9.
