What's up for auction?  See all the items here.

Over 200 knitters and crocheters have contributed pieces towards the Pink Project items - see who they are here.

What the auction will benefit: breast cancer research, via the National Breast Cancer Foundation and similar organizations worldwide

How the auction works:  Bids for the 16 items in the first round of the auction can be placed by email up until midnight, Monday March 9, 2009, Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Submit your bid on the form below - the highest starting price will be posted next to each item on Wed, March 4, then bidding will commence in earnest and will run until midnight, Australian Eastern Standard time on Monday, March 9, 2009.

After the starting bids are posted on March 4, the site will be updated each day to show any higher bids , together with the bidder’s initials.

All bids must be made in Australian $ (conversion rates can be found at
www.xe.com), but winning bidders will have the option of making their donation at the equivalent of the amount of their winning bid in their own local currency, should they prefer to support an approved charity in their own country.  This option will be discussed with each of the winners at the close of the auction, and proof of donation must be received before the goods are dispatched.

The full cost of postage is to be forwarded to Prudence via Paypal before the goods are mailed.  The approximate weight of each item is displayed along with the photos and descriptions.  Goods will be sent Airmail via Registered Post International – the approximate postage costs to your country can be calculated at:
