In 2004 Prudence was invited to be the feature guest for each of the ‘Craft & Quilt Fairs’ in every state in Australia – she traveled to and exhibited in Launceston, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane, and then also to Hamilton, New Zealand. 
 
Over the years Prudence has won prizes for both her Intarsia knit and Freeform knit and/or crochet designs in many competitions in Australia, including the ‘Armidale Wearable Wool Awards’, New South Wales; the ‘Mohair Design Awards’, Victoria.; Bendigo Woollen Mills ‘World’s Largest Knitting Competition’, Victoria.; the ‘Dame Mary Durack Outback Craft Awards’, Queensland.; and the ‘Alice Springs Beanie Competition’ in the Northern Territory.  In 1988 she took out a major award in the competition entitled ‘Nicest Sweater in the World’, run by the Italian yarn company Filatura di Crosa; her prize was a trip to Europe and the UK.  Her work was featured as the lead article in the first volume of “Salon”, a book that ‘showcases outstanding handcrafted garments’ produced by Belle Armoire magazine.
